What happens when the client changes the figures?

Relay updates the workpaper and everything the change affects, and each figure stays tied to its source. You ask for the update; the file is not watched or changed without you.

How do we check Relay's work?

Every figure in the workpaper is traceable to the document it came from, and every test is recorded: what it looked at, against which standard, and what it found. Where the evidence is thin or the data does not reconcile, Relay flags it instead of papering over it, so review time goes to the exceptions.

Who is responsible for the workpaper?

The auditor. Relay drafts and maintains the workpaper; the review, the judgement on each exception and the sign-off stay with the engagement team, and the file carries their name when a regulator inspects it.
